Feeling like you are trying everything and nothing is working.
Tired of no one talking to you about what a dementia diagnosis looks like.
My name is Mary, an Occupational Therapist (OT) who specializes in dementia care. When I first started in dementia care, I remember going home from my first day of work feeling overwhelmed and defeated.
I thought to myself… What was happening? What was I missing?
It was at this moment that I realized I needed to understand more about caring for individuals with dementia.
Since I started my OT career 10 years ago, I’ve learned so much about dementia care through continued research and practice. It was through this education & continued practice, where it all started to make sense! I've lived in 4 different states, trained various staff members & families, written a dementia resource guide book, designed a dementia coloring book, & started my own consulting company to help teach dementia caregivers what I've learned over these past 10 years.
I’m so passionate about this work. I believe this type of success is possible for everyone, which is why I’ve written this course! This course is designed to help guide you in your caregiving journey to increase quality of life for everyone involved without drowning in overwhelm.

"The Caregivers Dementia Guide is an invaluable asset to caregivers and medical professionals alike. As a previous rehab director and OT myself, I have seen the lack of support and information available to people living with, and caring for a loved one with dementia. As a therapist, I have seen see how overwhelming and isolating it is for caregivers in the community. Resources are often limited or difficult to access and caregivers are burn out. This course is filled with great education on dementia itself and strategies to assist caregivers of any kind."
